There are useful courses for both part I and II, and some of them are listed below.

Guilford Course

This course organised by The Belmont Post Graduate Centre, is the most famous. Part I course is considered to be better than the part II course but this is partly due to the wider breadth of part II syllabus, and the organisers having to cramp everything possible into eight days. Fees are high, and some health authorities don't provide funding to attend. Apply early to get a place in the mock clinical exam which is a very worth while experience.

Birmingham Course

This course is free and includes a good mock clinical exam. There is a separate course for critical appraisal and  the candidates who have attended has found this an invaluable experience.

BBR course (Formerly BPP course)

Held in London (organised by BBR medical education) this is a good weekend course, and provides you with lot of exam practice. A good feature is that   the course is divided into two parts for theory and clinicals, and that the clinicals are held after the theory exam. Extensive  small group mock PMP practice is quite valuable specially for those who find this component nerve wracking.

Leeds Course

Held at Leeds General Hospital, and is a free combined course for both part I and II. Course follows the famous exam guide books from Leeds and there is lot of emphasis on the exam technique. You will also get free copies of these books. Well worth attending specially if you want to learn specifically about MRCPsych examination techniques.
